QuikSCience – The QuikSCience Partnership is collaboration between USC, the USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies, Quiksilver and the Quiksilver Foundation. It holds an annual QuikSCience Challenge competition among school children. Its mission is to improve K-12 science education in America by using children’s love of the ocean to make science more approachable.

SurfAid International – SurfAid’s mission is to create sustainable improvements in the health and well-being of people in isolated locations connected to us through surfing. SurfAid has formed a wave of compassion powered by the global surfing community. Continuing its support of SurfAid the Quiksilver Foundation formed the Nias Fund following the catastrophic tsunami of December 26th, 2004 to support the relief efforts of SurfAid International.

Surfrider Foundation – The Surfrider Foundation is an international grassroots organization that works to protect and preserve the world’s oceans and beaches for all people. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 80 chapters across the United States and Puerto Rico, with international affiliates in Australia, Europe, Japan and Brazil.

Keep A Breast – The Keep A Breast program was initiated at the 2004 Roxy Surf Jam in France. Created by the founders of Modart, it is a unique interactive program featuring plaster torso casts of women that have been decorated by artists. These casts are auctioned to support breast cancer research, treatment and prevention. The program seeks to raise awareness about breast cancer among active young women.

Kelly Slater Foundation – Founded in 2007 by Nine Time World Surfing Champion Kelly Slater, the
foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and financial support for existing
social and environmentally conscious charities. The foundation supports its
efforts by hosting specialty fundraising events and through donations from
corporate organizations and individual philanthropists. We provide support to
both important local and International charitable causes whose goals are
specific, measurable, time specific and achievable.

Reef Check – Reef Check is the United Nations’ official community-based reef monitoring program. Reef Check’s Marine biologists utilized the Quiksilver Crossing, a seabound expedition that circles the globe, gaining unprecedented access to examine remote coasts and reef ecology. Reef Check is now active in over 82 countries and territories throughout the world.

Sumba Foundation – The Sumba Foundation was partially funded by a book the Quiksilver Foundation underwrote, called Sumba. The proceeds of this project help the tribal people of Sumba break the cycle of poverty through improved health, education, clean water and economic opportunities without disrupting their delicate culture.

Ocean Institute – The mission of the Ocean Institute is to inspire all generations, through education, to become responsible stewards of our oceans.

Joyful Heart Foundation – Founded in 2002 by Mariska Hargitay, star of NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Joyful Heart Foundation (JHF) is dedicated to helping survivors of sexual assault heal mind, body, and spirit as well as inspiring women of all ages to live their best lives.

Bolsa Chica Wetlands Conservancy – This organization was established to ensure the preservation, restoration and enhancement of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach, California.

Wyland Foundation – The Wyland
Foundation is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and preserving the world’s
ocean, waterways, and marine life. The foundation encourages environmental
awareness through education programs, public arts projects, and community
events.

Stoked Mentoring – Stoked Mentoring is a non profit action sports organization for "at risk" youth with the mission of developing Successful Teens with Opportunity, Knowledge, Experience, and Determination through the use of action sports, mentoring, and coaching.

International Surfing Association – The International Surfing Association (ISA) is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the World Governing Authority for surfing, bodyboarding and surfriding. Originally founded as the International Surfing Federation in 1964, it has been running World championships since 1964 and the Junior World Championships since 1980. ISA membership includes surfing National Governing Bodies (NGBs) from over 50 countries on six continents. It is presided by Fernando Aguerre, elected and re-elected since 1994. The ISA’s four Vice Presidents are Alan Atkins (Australia), Robin de Kock (South Africa), Maile Aguerre (Hawaii) and Mike Gerard (USA).

Eddie Nash Foundation – The goal of the Eddie Nash Foundation (ENF) is to assist children who are victims of abuse and neglect by bringing awareness to the magnitude of this epidemic. ENF works to create an enlightened world without violence, by breaking the cycle of hate resulting from abuse, prejudice and all forms of violence effecting our youth, through recognition and financial contributions to community programs and organizations that support the goals of the foundation.
